What's in your 'family fleet' -
SUV's, watercraft,
4 X 4's,'
hovercraft, ATV's, chainsaws, utility
engines,
generator's, RV's,
motorcycles,
lawn & garden,
farm
equipment, weed eaters, leaf blowers, pressure washers...?
For maximum
performance, longevity, cost savings - nourish your equipment on
AMSOIL premium synthetic lubricants
and related performance products.
Why AMSOIL synthetics?...simply,
they dramatically outperform conventional petroleum
motor oils, and even
other synthetics.
If
you want improved performance and more, "you can't expect different results
when you keep doing the same thing" -- using conventional lubes.
(And also consider the results of using cheap
filters. See
Why
Cheap Air and Oil Filters Cost More.)
True
value is not price,
but
what the product or service can do.
Synthetics reduce friction, heat, and wear, and deliver maximum power,
performance, and fuel efficiency.

Formula 4-Stroke®
10W-30/SAE 30 -- Synthetic Small Engine Oil (ASE)
A commercial grade formulation designed for hot temperature, severe
service operation of small engines where routine maintenance is often
difficult or infrequent. Recommended for use wherever SAE 10W-30 or SAE 30
oil is specified in gasoline or diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulics,
and chain cases requiring the listed specifications. Applications include
maintenance equipment, tractors, lawn and garden equipment, generators,
pumps, compactors, light towers, welders, log splitters, power washers,
cement mixers and trowels, skid-steers, excavators and compressors.

AMSOIL Formula
4-Stroke® Small Engine Oil (ASE) is a robust formulation designed
for hot temperature, severe service operation of small engines where
routine maintenance is often difficult or infrequent. It is formulated
with premium synthetic base oils that exceed both 10W-30 multi-grade and
SAE 30 straight-grade viscosity requirements. Unlike conventional SAE 30
motor oils, AMSOIL ASE has a naturally high viscosity index and does not
contain paraffin (wax). It has a -38°F pour point and qualifies for SAE
10W, making it an "all season," multi-grade lubricant with a wide
operating temperature range. As an SAE 30 weight motor oil, AMSOIL ASE
provides outstanding protection for hot operating engines. Formula
4-Stroke® Small Engine Oil is a commercial grade lubricant that
helps improve
productivity and reduce maintenance costs through superior
engine protection.

AMSOIL EaA Air Filters
--
AMSOIL achieves Absolute Efficiency
with new filter line.
The introduction of AMSOIL Ea Air Filters represents a major
breakthrough in filtration technology. For the first time, revolutionary
nanofiber technology is available to the auto/light truck market. It’s
another first for AMSOIL!
 Looking for performance and
protection for other family fleet items for recreational 4-stroke
motors, such as ATV's, outboard motors, vehicles and motorcycles? Check out
AMSOIL 0W-40, 4-Stroke Motor Oil.
This friction modifier-free formulation has a very high
viscosity index of 201. This oil provides
optimum protection
and performance in hot and cold temperature extremes. Excellent cold weather
starting and protection. And, this is an excellent 'high-mileage' engine lube.
AMSOIL 0W-40 delivers
second-to-none protection and performance in
Yamaha®, Honda®, Arctic Cat®, Suzuki®, Mercury®,
Kawasaki®, Polaris®, Nissan®, Bombardier® and other
motors/transmissions specifying 0W-40, 5W-30, 10W-30 and 10W-40 viscosity
grades. AMSOIL 4-Stroke is safe for use in wet or dry sumps and recommended for
manual or automatic clutches and clutch plates in ATV's and motorcycle
transmissions.

| In Europe,
customers look for "Vehicle Cost of Ownership" which takes into account
the costs of scheduled maintenance such as oil changes. With top tier oil
costing up to $28.00 a liter, a primary consideration is extended drain
intervals - lower VCO.
Question:
How do you measure engine oil performance?
“The single engine
oil performance measure available to the public is the drain interval…how long
an oil should remain in an engine before it is changed,"
writes
Automotive Editor David McFall in the the
March 2003 issue of
Lubes 'N Greases
Magazine.
AMSOIL
offers
Extended drain intervals --of 7,500, 25,000,
and 35,000 miles/one year, whichever first in gas engines or up to 11
times longer than conventional engine oil. Plus, factor in
reduced emissions, energy efficiency, and cost savings
over the life of the products and you have ample reasons to use the
finest in automotive synthetic lubricants. Related
Example --
AMSOIL Absolute Efficiency oil
filters can be used up to 25,000 miles/one year - whichever first.
Imagine - one year between oil and filter
changes! That is a quantum leap in product longevity! And,
simply, means premium performance products
Real Life Scenario
-- You have a 2007 Toyota Camry with 2.4L engine and it is driven about 18,000
miles annually. Using AMSOIL products, your total oil (excluding
any 'top-off') and filter needs are
five
quarts of 5W30 and one
EaO-10 oil filter.
Up to
one year
or 25,000 miles without oil and filter maintenance! Your yearly
investment is under
$70.00. (Compare to regular oil & filter changes over the same mileage.)
When changed as
recommended, AMSOIL's synthetic
lubes are backed by a
Warranty.

Are aftermarket oil additives recommended?
From the book "Basic Handbook of
Lubrication"
Most major equipment manufacturers and
lubricant formulators do not approve of aftermarket lubricant
products or remain silent about their use. Equipment manufacturers have
concerns over potential damage from harmful additives and are usually
uninterested in evaluating additives since there are simply too many on the
market to evaluate. Most oil manufacturers are concerned with the balance of
their original additive packages and the potential for adverse effect on
their formulation.
Lubricant formulators are always under
pressure to reduce additive treatment costs and thus improve profitability.
This can lead to the production of lubricants which are of
marginal quality, thus providing room for additive boosting. There have
been several companies (including two of the Big Three automakers and two
major oil companies), who themselves market lubricant additives which
purport to provide increased lubrication protection. It is this apparently
contradictory stance that has consumers confused, and most simply decide for
themselves or take the advice of their trusted mechanics or suppliers.
